A new cloud-based SCADA system designed for the water and wastewater industries
Smaller water and wastewater treatment districts often have difficulty funding the SCADA systems they need to monitor operations. And remote and rural equipment sites can be difficult to connect. Wireless communication can fail due to terrain, while cellular communication may be cost-prohibitive.
Recognizing the needs of smaller water and wastewater treatment plant operators, systems integrator Perceptive Controls decided to develop a cloud-based SCADA system to reduce costs and provide operators with the data they need.
